preamble
The preamble condenses the vision of the Wildlife VANT Sanctuary into its organizational culture and is intended to shape the decisions, ways of thinking and actions of all members in the totality of their values and norms. The founding historical beliefs and their origins are to be understood as the basis of the mission statement and always strives for an environment of integrity, appreciation and inspiration for both service providers and service recipients: "Special treasures of our earth need special protection in a world that has become fragile... Because the golden light and the wild animals, foreign cultures and their powerful legends - untamed Africa - arouse fascination in us. But beyond the safari romance, social division, poverty, violence and crime lurk. The waste of habitats and exploitation of natural resources, the internationally organized crime of poaching and legal canned hunting, are experiencing a continuous renaissance... This has promoted the vision of acquiring land in South Africa and the Western Cape, renaturing it and creating a place of international understanding, education and culture, or a protected habitat for species, nature and animal conservation." The members of the NPO are committed to their social commitment, in the sense of sustainability, for the ecological and cultural heritage of our children.
